Culture of Worship: Developing Healthy Relationships

We serve in a context. The context of relationships. These relationships shape our culture of worship. In every direction, the health of these relationships determines the health of our culture of worship. Think about your relationship with God, yourself, your church leadership, your worship team, and your congregation. We’ll learn how to move forward in each of these key relationships and develop a strong culture of worship.

Congregational Engagement

A common question worship coach Dave Helmuth is asked about is how to encourage and engage a congregation in worship. Dave will give some insight on what meaningful actions and prayers can be shared to grow in this aspect of your church

Worship Vs Preaching Debate
God's word never returns void, but we were created to worship. We will worship God forever, but the word of God is eternal. Pastors and musicians have been debating for centuries…which is more important, the worship or preaching aspects of the gathering of God's people? Join Worship Pastor Brett Lovern and Teaching Pastor Jamie Mitchell as they engage in a lively debate over what's really important.

Band/Tech Demo and Pre-Conference Demo
Join Tony Guyer and Grandview UMC for the pre-session walk through of a  sound check before the group worship time.  During the breakout session, they will demonstrate more techniques of balancing and mixing the various aspects service.  Turn down the rock star please…

Bass and Drums
Join professional instructor George Yellak as he discusses team dynamics and holding the groove with their instruments and with their co-band members.

Keys
Join Rick Rowe from Hopewell Christian Fellowship for a discussion on the many facets of modern worship keyboarding in today's churches. We'll talk about leading with keys, creating flow with patches, personal monitoring for improved musicianship and much more!
